Shipping Policy

At Vintage Metal Rockers, we are committed to delivering your vintage furniture safely and efficiently. Due to the unique size, weight, and value of our one-of-a-kind pieces — particularly vintage chairs. Shipping is arranged on a case-by-case basis after purchase.


How Shipping Works

We do not offer flat-rate or pre-calculated shipping costs for our chairs or furniture at checkout. Instead, once your order is placed, we coordinate with a trusted network of independent and specialty furniture carriers, who bid on transporting your item. This process ensures that you receive the best available rate for your specific location and delivery needs.

Shipping for Parts

Free shipping is included in all of our replacement parts which can be found on our Parts page. This free shipping is available for up to 100 replacement parts. For orders of over 100 parts, shipping costs may be adjusted as needed.


Shipping Cost Factors

Shipping rates vary depending on several key factors, including but not limited to:

  • Delivery distance
  • Size and weight of the item
  • Carrier availability
  • Current market rates
  • Level of service required (e.g., curbside, white-glove, stairs, etc.)

Because of these variables, shipping costs cannot be quoted prior to purchase. After your order is placed, we will contact you with one or more delivery options and rates as soon as possible.


Shipping Process

  1. Purchase Your Item
    Contact us to purchase your chosen item.
  2. We Source Shipping Bids
    We immediately begin sourcing quotes from reputable carriers experienced in transporting vintage and delicate furniture.
  3. You Review & Approve
    Once shipping options are available, we will review them with you. You may choose the option that best suits your needs and budget, if multiple are requested or available.
  4. Shipping Contract Finalized
    Once approved, we’ll coordinate directly with the carrier to arrange pickup and delivery. You will receive all relevant tracking or contact information upon request.

Delivery Timeline

Delivery timelines vary based on:

  • Your location
  • Carrier schedule and route availability
  • Weather or regional disruptions

Expedited shipping may be possible for an additional fee.


Insurance & Liability

All shipments are insured through the carrier up to the value of your purchase. Please inspect your item upon delivery, and photograph any damage before the carrier departs, so that we can assist with any claim.

We are not responsible for:

  • Delays due to carrier schedules or circumstances beyond our control
  • Inaccurate shipping information provided at checkout
  • Shipping damage not reported within 3 days of delivery

Local Pickup & Special Requests

If you prefer to arrange your own shipping or pickup, please contact us at lee@vintagemetalrockers.com after purchase. We’re happy to work with your preferred carrier or help coordinate pickup from our location or specialized delivery in Georgia and potentially surrounding states.
